Student Government - Elected Student Class Representative 2000-2006 in both the Medfield schools and continued at Brimmer and May. Work includes continuous fundraising and funding management, event planning and organizing, promotions, networking.

Principal Search Committee - 2003-2004 Essay Selected. Sat on a board of administrators to review potential applicants for New Principal of Medfield High School. Process involved independent review of resumés, regular attendance of nighttime meetings, interviews of applicants.

Dean's Advisory Board - 2003-2004, one of two students chosen by the Dean of
Students, Mr. Richard Gibbs, to meet regularly for discussion of issues and affairs pertaining to the school and student body.

Time/Scheduling Management Committee - 2003-2004 Student representative to board of administrators reviewing possible change in daily school schedule. Process involved study of current, past, and potential schedules, representation of my student body's requests, visits to other school systems to review schedules in practice, attendance of regular meetings and active research.

NCISER - 2004-2005 One of three student representatives of Brimmer and May to travel to Washington, D.C. for the NCISER conference along with several other administrators from school.

Senior Representative to Alumni Association - At Brimmer and May, 2006 Through weekly meetings and monthly reporting to Alumni meetings, organizes seniors in fund raisers and events, plans for senior gifts, etc.

COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT

- Independently initiated the first student-directed assembly at the Brimmer and May School, an assembly in recognition and promotion of awareness for World AIDS Day, 2005.

- One of four young women to plan non-profit fundraiser for Planet Aid, a division of Humana People to People. "Fashion Conscious" was a fashion show of local and upcoming designers held at a Boston nightclub in April 2005. Focused primarily on: promotion and press, organization of silent auction, sponsors, raffles, overseer and assistant to director on night of event.

- Awarded a Best Bear award from the Salvation Army. Award was one of several given to chosen participants in a collection of uniquely outfitted stuffed bears for the charity.

- Initiated the 2005 "Penny Sabotage", which led to Brimmer and May's $8,000 contribution to Tsunami Relief Effort carried out by the Student Government.

- Habitat for Humanity Birdhouse Sale Volunteer, 2003
